So today I threw a small fit at the drug store. This fit was caused by a customer service representative doing something unfortunate. The proper response to the situation was somewhere in between politeness and a tiny tiff. I chose to go big.
So it was kind of like that. Except there weren’t pinatas everywhere. And I didn’t punch anything (or anyone). But I’m sure there were some people looking like Jim.
Anyways, the fact of the matter is this:
“He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is quick-tempered exalts folly. A tranquil heart is life to the body, but passion is rottenness to the bones.” –Proverbs 14:29-30
“A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but the slow to anger calms a dispute.” — Proverbs 15:18
“The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.” –Proverbs 15:28
This quick-tempered fool needs some prayer. May I be a peace-maker…
