Tutorial: Tissue Paper PomPoms

As promised, here is the lowdown on how to make yourself some lovely pompoms.

Step 2: Fold a piece of floral wire in half, attach to the middle of the creased tissue paper, and twist to hold in place. Cut the edges of the tissue paper into a shape.

Step 3. Begin to fluff your pompom. Starting on one side, pull 4 pieces of tissue paper towards yourself (one at a time). Repeat on the other side of the wire. Then, flip over the entire pompom and repeat.

Step 4. You have yourself your very own pompom! Hang wherever you like and enjoy!

Once again – this is probably an even easier tutorial than one I posted about how to make fabric rosettes…but let’s face it no one is calling this a craft blog…so I’m just going to share the wealth. I’m hoping the saying, “It’s so easy, even Meg can do it” becomes wide-spread.

Also, as promised, here is where our pompoms ended up!
