Sometimes kids throw tantrums.
Sometimes I do.
Sometimes I would rather pout and whine then speak maturely and rationally.
Sometimes it was just a day and I want to sit and not say much.
And sometimes my husband looks at me and says “I love you” and he really means it, because despite me being my lowest of low…I am loved even then….even then…
This is the deep grace and goodness of marriage. Somehow, you are loved in your brokenness by another broken person.
This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church. – Ephesians 5:32
“How deep the Father’s love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure” – Stuart Townend
May we love like Christ first loved us.
